About The Artist
My journey as an artist has been anything but linear. For 15 years, I stepped away from my canvas—not because I stopped loving art, but because life led me in different directions. During that time, I poured into family, deepened my faith, and discovered a stronger sense of purpose.
When I finally picked up my brushes again, something had shifted. What emerged was no longer just about technique or aesthetics, but about meaning. Each piece I create is now rooted in purpose—shaped by faith, influenced by culture, and inspired by the stories of people who walk through seasons of courage, growth, and transformation. I paint to uplift, to inspire, and to bring joy into the lives of others.
My work has taken me on unexpected paths—from commissioned portraits of renowned musicians like Kenny G, created to support children’s hospitals, to deeply personal pieces like the portrait of my mother for her 60th birthday. Each experience has reinforced what I believe to be true: art is most powerful when it serves something greater than itself.
I believe art has the ability to heal, to connect, and to transform. Whether I’m capturing a moment of faith or honoring a life story, my goal is to create work that resonates deeply and reflects the beauty and strength of the human spirit.
Today, I’m grateful to be back in my studio, creating with renewed purpose and perspective. What once felt like a pause was, in truth, a season of preparation—one that now shapes every piece I create.
Thank you for being here and taking the time to explore my work and the stories behind it. I hope that what you find here speaks to your heart the way creating it has spoken to mine.
